I created a watch piece to practice creating a realistic vector graphic. I looked at different types of clocks to decide on what I would want to create.

I wanted to create a watch or time piece that was unique compared to other time pieces. I chose to take a specific clock face and turn it into a watch using different watch features.

After doing some work I was able to come up with my first draft.

I decided I needed more texture and some shadowing to help make the watch more realistic.

After talking with some peers, I learned I needed to work on the shadowing, light glare on the glass, and adjust the numbers to make them straighter. I ended up with this as my final piece.
