For the Swiss luxury watchmaker, Winnerl, Nouvelle Noire was commissioned to design a new typeface based on company’s historical documents. The typeface adopts the neoclassical forms of numerals found in their archives. The task was to draw a typeface which clearly differs from existing typefaces of this genre. The bespoke typeface is used on the clock face as well as on their website and for the entire brand communication.
