Alessandro Gottardo aka SHOUT was born in Pordenone in 1977. He studied at a specialist art high school in Venice and in the Illustration department of the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.

He has won many international awards, particularly in the United States. These include the most prestigious international accolade of the Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators New York and the Society of Publication Designers.

He serves on the Board of Directors and the Special Committee of the Society of illustrators New York.
