In the spirit of Halloween, this design was created for a project that revolved around the theme of horror. Instead of running with the more common imagery of zombies or monsters, I decided to focus on the serial killer. The imagery is a combination of old and new, representing our timeless fascination with and the evolution of these real-life monsters. The background consists of case notes and letters from the Jack the Ripper files alongside old Victorian era anatomy notes. The killer in the foreground is more of a modern take with a Patrick Bateman/American Psycho like essence and the "average joe" appearance of a Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer.
