DECEPTION
noun/dɪˈsɛpʃ(ə)n/
The act of hiding the truth.

ALTERNATE DIMENSION
By using the literal meaning of the word 'reflection', this cinemagraph shows water from a tap flowing in its reflection, a bug and the trees in the top left of the video can also be seen moving, though the actual tap remains closed. This represents the idea of two parallels where one reality may be similar yet somehow significantly different to the other, playing with the idea of 'deception'.

SELF REFLECTION
Sticking to the theme of reflection, I chose to focus not only on the physical aspects of the term, but also the metaphorical aspects. This cinemagraph represents a sense of reflecting on one's self through an out-of-body perspective and capturing the chaos going on inside one's head, while including a mirror reflection of what is being looked at.
