An estimated 2.8% of U.S. adults had bipolar disorder in the past year. Today's message is to raise awareness for one of the most common mental health disorders in the world; Bipolar disorder. 🔴🔵

Bipolar is a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). When you become depressed, you may feel sad or hopeless and lose interest or pleasure in most activities. When your mood shifts to mania or hypomania (less extreme than mania), you may feel euphoric, full of energy or unusually irritable. These mood swings can affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior and the ability to think clearly.

The Superfly's design concept was to highlight both emotional phases; highs and lows, red portrays the highs and blue portrays the lows. I wanted to provide an even share of primary colours to illustrate the bipolar condition being equally about the highs and lows.
