Film scoring contest

This footage was provided via a film scoring contest.

The music is improvised and has influences from romanian folklore. This particular form of music was my choice since I believe it best captures the organic feel of the video. I mostly play the caval and tilinca, two traditional woodwind instruments from Romania. The etherophony was one of the most crucial ideas I explored in the music. I choose this musical syntax in an effort to convey the character's dualism.

Voices, which depict the character's inner voice, and midi instruments like a synth bass and drum set are other musical components in this project. I made a conscious decision to use the foley component musically rather than merely as a technical tool. The dramaturgical vision of music and the music itself are supported by elements like steps or the sounds of metal or wood.
Thank you so much for listening to my projects and supporting my work.

Please feel free to share your thoughts on this project with me.
