The idea of this project is to design 5 posters announcing a fictitious exhibition at the Baltic Museum in Newcastle about the works of Tolkien 5 different styles from the history of graphic design: Art & Craft, Bauhaus, the style of Herbet Bayer, Pop Art and the style of the designer Massimo Vignelli and his New York subway map.
