Project goals/requirements
1. Build a single-page website for a company/brand.
2. Add a contact form
3. Implement a number-guessing game
4. Add products
5. feature a light and dark theme
What I created
Since the Los Angeles Lakers are making the playoffs this year I decided that I was going to make a webpage for them that listed their top Playoffs moments over the last 75 years.
Purpose of the site
The primary objective of the website is to provide a unique platform for the enthusiastic and loyal fans of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. As the Lakers gear up to enter this year's highly-anticipated playoffs, the site aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and excitement by allowing fans to relive some of the most memorable and iconic moments from previous playoff campaigns.
Overview
1. I started by researching and reading a lot of articles about the Lakers and their top playoff moments. After 45 minutes I gathered all of the relevant content inside of Google Doc.
2. Started making wireframes of the webpage
3. Began to code the the site in Visual Studio Code
4. Tested the code
Tools
Javascript, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio Code, excalidraw, GitHub, Google Images, Docs
Struggles
I struggled most with form validation in Javascript for the “contact” form. The tricky part was validating each field by using a lot of if-else statements and a lot of regex.
Enjoyed
The part I enjoyed the most was making the guessing game in Javascript. It was simple to make but still fun using the randomizer function built into Javascript to make a game out of it.

After gather all of the content I began to sketch wireframes in exalidraw so I could I have a idea on how I wanted the site to look

In the Future
If I had to do this project again, I would add more content to the page and would try to add a mini-store and shopping cart into the site.
