This Image Generation project was a collaboration between myself and musicians at the Africa Open Institute based in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This collaboration looked at re-negotiating the relationship between image and sound. I was invited to a Live Play session at the Institute, where four musicians partook in experimental play with various instruments. I first interpreted the sounds visually through mark-making. Following the sessions I generated more visual media through Audio-reactive creations/Generative Art made in TouchDesigner.
To tie together all visual media, I imagined how they could function in motion and on music platforms like Spotify for the Institute.
