Photojournalism: A Litter Problem in the Village
I have chosen photojournalism as my genre, because I am not particularly familiar with it, or comfortable with either! I usually photograph subjects that are visually appealing. However, I found an interesting topic to document and photograph, the litter problem in my village. Litter isn’t a subject I have ever thought about photographing before, however, on my daily walk with my dogs, there seems to be litter everywhere. My village is small and rural, so it is surprising to see a litter problem that seems to be getting progressively worse. I have noticed, however, a lack of public bins in the area, which may be contributing to the problem.
