Local design magazine, Design Indaba is launching a new quarterly magazine that focuses on emerging
creatives, as well as young design trends from Africa and the world. This magazine can be seen as a sub-
brand of the current online environment, This DPS is a visual expression to the main editorial article, “The Power of Colour”.

For this assignment students were asked to create a double page spread for a design magazine. Shown below is my work.

For my DPS and single page I implemented a paint theme by using brush strokes and paint being poured onto the page. I also made use of a knockout text effect for the word "BLUE" on my DPS , this was so that my image would still be seen through the text.
