Imagine locations that look and feel real but that could physically never exist in the real world. Sehsucht‘s Director‘s Cut „Rooms“ for MTV World Exclusive is an experimental animation that takes you to incredible places.

Set scene in a cloudy hangar, we move through a stormy meteor rain. We fly backwards through a variety of different rooms. The rooms include a robot-directed spaceship, a living installation in an art gallery and a disco hallway where disco balls melt from the ceiling. Flying backwards through seven rooms, it becomes cleat that the journey is the destination: Animation can take you to incredible places.

Together with the World Design Studios Buenos Aires, Sehsucht produced the opener for the MTV show ‘World Exclusive‘. The show premiers the very first broadcast of new music videos.
