For this, I used the Down and Dirty Tricks tutorial Perforated Pattern. I tweaked the effects to fit the pattern I created out of squares. Mostly, I upped the texture effect and added a rusty metal pattern I found from http://freestocktextures.com/texture. I also used that texture for the text box and edjusted the drop shadow, inner shadow, and gradient overlay to fit my color scheme more. My text layer has some added stroke and drop shadow elements, as well as a metal texture from the book files. I also added a lens flare to my text layer, to make it more shiny.
