Warner Bros. Timepiece Collection

While at Fossil, I directed a team of designers creating seasonal product lines for Warner Bros. We interpreted the characters to appeal to a younger audience. We designed products and packaging reflecting the zany, retro feeling these classic cartoons evoked and opened new territories for the characters to inhabit.

We saw an opportunity to build loyalty within the crowd of watch collectors. The Timepiece Passport Club awarded aficionados a club pin, and a passport stamped with each purchase. For every three watches bought, members would receive an exclusive gift. The complete ensemble included the Conductor Bugs maquette, a pocket watch and display base. This was a true collectible. The completed set now fetches upwards of $1,500. Glad I didn’t make a wrong turn in Albuquerque.
