Beats by Dre came to me with a surprising problem. They had rented the largest, most technically sophisticated billboard in the world in Times Square, and simply didn’t know what to do with it. My recommended strategy included a 24/7 music channel, globally connected to all their media propertie and devices, driven and curated by users, integrated through product and social.
The next day, Apple announced their identical steaming service – no joke.
