Web/Digital Studio
The New England Sports Network (NESN) Digital Studio is used to air sports news and opinion discussions that populated NESN’s website. I designed the digital studio to appear like a sport fanatic's cave. Using stone facing and mahogany wood gives it a warm quality. The memorabilia were incorporated to activate the sport theme.

Interchangeable Set
I design this studio to have versatility so it can be used for both Red Sox and Bruins programming but have their own distinct appearance. The space uses elements from each team that are inherent in their stadium/park. The lockers on the left are fabricated in the Bruins theme on one side and Red Sox theme on the opposite. Since this is on casters, it can be rotated 180º for a program change. The crowd scene on the right of the Briuns set is printed on a roller shade. When rolled up, it reveals a scaled replica of the scoreboard at Fenway Park for the Red Sox set.

7 NBC News Studio
7 News is a prominent news channel that is known for breaking news, weather, and sports in the Boston area. Using backlit, primary colored graphics, I was able to achieve a vibrancy that is inherent in the reporting and delivery of their newscast.

Anchor Desk
Because this anchor desk is used for pre and postgame events for the Boston Bruins as well as for college games at the Boston Garden arena, I utilized LED lighting that could change colors to match any home team's color. A flatscreen monitor is used in the middle section for graphic flexibility.

“NESN Sports Today” Virtual Set
This virtual set is used for the sports news program, “NESN Sports Today” that reports mainly on Boston sports. Using concept drawings as a base, I designed the studio to mimic the same materials that you would find in the architecture around Boston. Details in the far corner between the hosts were created to evoke depth in the scene.

“The Instigators” Virtual Set
"The Instigators” is a weekly Bruins hockey editorial program. Since this is a virtual set, I was able to design the elements to look like the jumbotron and lockers. I also used the mechanics of the jumbotron so it rotates to reveal the next topic in the show. Uncommon to most virtual sets, the desk in this set is also virtual.
