Facebook Campaign
Fage Ageladitsa adopted its main message from the new strategy campaign "As modern as we are today, tradition will always be a part of our lives" using Sakis Rouvas (a well know Greek Pop Star) for its new TV campaign. The campaign shows Saki taking a break to sing his daughter to sleep with a lullaby. Our aim was to use this TV commercial, created by Bold Ogilvy, as an entry for Ageladitsa into the digital world, using Saki to create a public debate around the "traditional values".
Before the TVC was released, a teaser video, posted by an unknown user on YouTube, created a buzz. The revelation of this teaser was the premiere of the commercial on television. To expand the reach, the video included the URL of the page in Facebook, which was activated at that time.
Furthermore, we used Twitter, and the account of Saki Rouva to invite his friends to enter Ageladitsa new Facebook page. In less than 4 hours, thousands of tweets with reference to Ageladitsa appeared on Twitter. The same happened on the Saki's Facebook wall. Several references were made throughout the Social Media within 24 hours, and without any media spending!
We continued with a competition based on "traditional values". Sakis was invited to speak about his own preferences on issues such as music, movies, lifestyle. This was recorded and uploaded each week on Ageladitsa Facebook page, and with the help of video banner campaigns at selected site these videos spread further. Users responded to these videos on tradition uploading their own content video or photos in a competition via Facebook, in an attempt to win and old time classic destination.
The competition became very popular and 11.500 fans became friends on Facebook during this 360 campaign.
