“An Ideal Place for Uncomfortable Experience” is a digital art project made by Arduino and Processing. By interacting with the environment settled by distance sensors, the sound speakers will float the sound volume accordingly.
The sounds I collected for this project are people’s yelling, traffic noise, glass breaking, pounding keyboard, rubbing metal, swear words and so on. The idea is to immerse audience in a space of purely uncomfortable sounds and see what are people’s physical and emotional reactions. This project aims to remind people the harm of sound pollution and language violence.
