D&AD New Blood 2017: Pearsons

The Brief:
Rethink the future of education around the world, with a product, service or campaign that shakes up learning for Pearson.
The Idea:
Education is important, but so is the arts and their place within education. Every child has the right to choose to express themselves through creativity, whether dance or writing. However, the government cuts means that the choice is no longer up to the students.

Inaccessible is a campaign, in 10 years time the arts in education will be non-existent. The posters are minimal, bleak and limited in information. To show how access to the arts will be difficult, viewers must find the information on a website/social media.

The benefits of the arts on children is profound, it has been proven to help development in early years, their abilities and their confidence throughout life. The arts can reach children in a way that nothing else can, boosting self-esteem in other academic subjects too. It has huge beneficial factors for children with disabilities and disorders.
