The European Space Agency asked our team to refresh their website by creating branded video content, infographics and social media assets. We’ve recently focused our efforts on developing content for the Business Applications side of the business, which provides grants to organisations that make use of satellite technology.

Our SEI video turned the spotlight onto three innovative companies that have received ESA funding and made space integral to their business. The purpose of this content was to encourage a broader spectrum of businesses to apply for the grant. To this end, we wanted to feature organisations that use satellite technology in exceedingly diverse ways, from automated trains to ankle bracelets for prisoners on parole.

We chose a visual style that combines live action footage and subtle graphic overlays. The live action angle allowed us to demonstrate real-world satellite technology applications and business possibilities. The graphic overlays lent a technical visual style that reinforced the primary message while adding a futuristic and forward-thinking aesthetic to the raw footage. Developing this style presented a unique challenge for our designers, who had never before attempted to create anything similar.

Once again, the Nucco team stood on the side of development and innovation, delivering a campaign that blended accessibility and technicality, allowing the grant program to gauge more applicants while demonstrating the complexity of satellite technology.
