The Litter Mermaid
People cannot see the deepest part of the oceans – like how many sea creatures are being threatened by human-generate waste. Through portrait photography, I depicted a mermaid facing the threats of living in seashore garbage and used the personified sea creature to deepen the viewers’ connection to such issues.
