For the Mission Design "2017 Montreal World Summit and Congress" installation displayed at the Taipei World Design Expo, we were inspired by our city’s best known icon: construction sites and traffic cones. The idea was to turn the negative perception to a fun and creative context, while giving the stand a bold, bright and catchy color. One of our mission was also to promote the city’s talents so each of the 190 cones contains a backlit image or video showcasing an architecture, design or planning, project from Montreal.
