This was a project for my motion graphics class where we had to combine pictures and videos together and make them work seamlessly. My theme for this project involved replacing body parts so I decided to find a way to replace my boyfriend’s left arm. His picture (bottom) remained in the same position while the arm from the cat (on top) moved. The maneki-neko cats from Japan are a symbol of good luck and I liked the idea of combining this message with him.
