A Short Comparison Between iPhone 11 And Galaxy S20

Apple and Samsung are the two tech giants that seem to power the smartphone world. Each year, both companies release their flagship phones that set trends for the other smartphone manufacturers. Even their base models, which are supposed to be least expensive ones, come loaded with strong specs and significantly attractive features. In this article, we are going to talk about the two base models, i.e. the iPhone 11 from Apple and Galaxy S20 from Samsung.
It is nothing less than a tricky job to pick between both of these phones unless you are a fan of a particular operating system. This job tends to be easier if you know the advantages and disadvantages of both of the phones. You can get this know-how by looking at cameras, designs, and performance of these phones.
Apple iPhone 11
The price of the iPhone 11 base model is the most surprising thing that users seem to come across. Its price is $699, which is lower than $749, the launch price of the iPhone XR. And what’s more surprising is that it is cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S20 base model, which is available at a starting price of $999. However, since S20 comes loaded with amazing features, the price difference should be understandable.
Samsung Galaxy S20
The Galaxy S20 is undoubtedly pricier than the iPhone 11, but its features make it a future-proof handset. 5G connectivity, a 120Hz screen, and 8K video recording are the astonishing features that give S20 an extra edge. As for the basics, this phone has a fast processor and an incredibly high-quality camera.
Camera comparison
While both phones have excellent cameras to satisfy your picture taking needs, both camera systems excel in different ways.

There are two rear cameras on the iPhone 11. One is the standard wide-angle camera, and the second one is an ultra-wide lens. The picture quality is excellent, even if you take snaps in the low light.

Another great feature in the iPhone 11 is Deep Fusion, which is an excellent optimizer for the photos taken in medium and low light. The selfie cam can also record slow-motion videos.

The Galaxy S20 comes with a triple-camera setup on its rear side. This camera setup also includes a telephoto lens. The 30x zoom means you can have a closer look at the distant objects without losing clarity.

The low light mode in Galaxy S20 works incredibly well. There is a countdown clock that allows you know how long you are going to have to hold the phone to take a snap. An even more prominent feature of S20 is its ability to shoot 8K video.
Design
Another notable difference between the iPhone 11 and the Galaxy S20 is their displays. The iPhone 11 comes with an LCD screen, whereas the Galaxy S20 has an AMOLED display. From an average user’s perspective, both screens are incredible. But, if you are more interested in higher resolution, more pixel density, higher contrast, and brighter colors, you will want to go for the Galaxy S20. The best thing about the Galaxy S20’s screen is its refresh rate, which is 120Hz. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 comes with a 60Hz screen.
Performance
Both of the phones come loaded with top-of-the-line processors that make their use an incredibly smooth experience. The iPhone 11 has an A13 bionic chipset, which the most powerful processor by Apple yet. And the Galaxy S20 comes equipped with a Snapdragon 864 chipset from Qualcomm. While doing routine tasks on both of the phones, you shouldn’t feel any performance-related difference. But, the iPhone 11’s A13 chipset looks faster on paper.
