Red Flag Campaign Pitch

RED FLAG CAMPAIGN PITCH
The RED FLAG Campaign is a collaborated campaign project that aims to educate youth and young adults on the effects of sexual harassment and how it not only effects the victim(s) but also the perpetrator(s).

The campaign is aimed towards low-income individuals between the ages of 16-24 and will cover the 4,600+ high school and college campuses all over the state of California.  


IMAGERY

Our imagery will consist of black and white photography of young diverse individuals to reflect our targeted audience.  These images will be used and presented in our advertising, website, and social media.
BUSINESS SYSTEM

The RED FLAG official business system consists of a letterhead, business cards, and envelope.  Here  we utilize a pattern that is made up of our campaign logo; the flag and we incorporated the pattern in both red and white.
MERCHANDISE

The merchandise will provide examples of what harassment is, such as “Can I get a pretty smile? is not a compliment” as seen on these buttons and stickers or simply display the logo as seen on our tote bag, t-shirt, and hoodie.  These will be distributed amongst California high schools and college campuses.. They will be free for all students because they will be located in low income areas.
ADVERTISEMENT

RedFlag Campaign posters are medium size 18x24 so they grab attention but can easily fit on a classroom wall. They individually list signs of inappropriate behavior like “I refused to let it go” to grab attention and address that those are the reflags of potentially being a harasser. They also direct viewers to learn more by providing a website link at the bottom left corner.
Our bus stop ads will be placed at bus stops and train systems around California. The public promotional materials will move monthly from major city to major city in order to spread the message effectively across the state.
Our billboard is more of a call to action. With the short phrase “Check yourself before you wreck someone else” it is meant to grab attention and incite curiosity which will lead viewers to check out the redflag website.
SOCIAL MEDIA

Our campaign offers a counseling feature on our website, where individuals are able to anonymously message, call, or email one of our trained counselors and ask what actions are appropriate in a specific event settings or want clearer information about sexual harassment.  We also offer informational videos on our YouTube channel where individuals can watch and learn what defines sexual harassment, how they can prevent themselves from doing those actions, and what the consequences are if those actions are performed or occur repeatedly.
