Macy’s needed to bring technology into their stores to help demonstrate their fashion credentials and mobile retail adeptness. We developed a mobile content platform that helped them deliver video tips, inspiration and advice for each fashion season. When starting the project I investigated a number of technologies available, deciding on mobile web and QR codes. Shoppers could interact with our execution on any mobile phone. We closed the interaction loop by integrating with Macy’s point of sale. In 2011, with this content platform, I helped Macy’s with the Mobile Marketer of The Year.
Devised the mechanics and determined the right technology for the mobile platform. Built confidence with the Macy’s client and the internal teams to bring the project to life. Managed technology vendors in production phase. Designed the latest mobile web site.
